I've been a fan of manga and anime for over a decade now, being introduced to them through Fairy Tail at the tail end of primary school. I wouldn't call myself the biggest fan – though I've been down certain rabbit holes, and certainly passed the point of no return into weebhood – but just as with Japanese videogames, I often enjoy the underlying styles of writing and vibes. Some of my favorite media of all times are anime and manga, after all.
I'm also a very casual/peripheral fan of vtubers and the vtubing industry, but at that level of involvement, it's not super worth discussing.
